Our property is a living testament to resilience. Built during Sri Lanka’s economic crisis using reclaimed materials and crafted by labourers from across the country, these cottages reflect a time of challenge and community spirit.

Pahiyangala (Fa Hien) Cave

The largest natural stone cave in South Asia, Pahiyangala is one of the continent’s most significant archaeological sites. Evidence of human habitation stretches back tens of thousands of years.

We currently offer two cottages, thoughtfully positioned across our estate. More are being built as we speak – each new cottage designed to offer you an even richer experience whilst preserving the authentic character that makes this place special. Every addition is shaped by what we’ve learned from our guests and our own journey with the land.

Hilltop Cottage
Our luxury option with the estate’s finest cave views. Elevated position for spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
